The Honourable Commissioner is the Political Head of the Ministry. He overseas all the affairs of the Ministry.

As a Ministry, we shall pursue good practices that would bestow good life for our people through a robust citizen budget that will enhance the lives of all the people of the State. Towards bringing governance closer to the people, the Ministry is deploying ICT such that distance will not be a barrier to doing business with government or provision of information that enable government to better serve the people of the State.
